Summary

March 1, 2023

The aim of this conference is to gather the RNA Binding Proteins (RBP) community and focus on the potentiality of these proteins as druggable targets. RNA-binding proteins are fundamental regulators of gene expression programs. RBPs organize in ribonucleotide complexes (RNPs) together with RNAs and additional proteins regulating all aspects of RNA life. Many reports suggest that alterations in RBPs homeostasis can lead to the insurgence of many pathologies. However, so far no approved drugs are specifically targeting RBPs but now technologies are mature enough to provide substantial contribution to the development of novel therapeutics.

Organizer: Alessandro Provenzani, Professor of Molecular Biology, University of Trento, Italy
