FASEB Comments on NSF SDR Information Collection Request

On January 17, FASEB sent comments to the National Science Foundation (NSF) in response to its request for approval to extend the information collection for the Survey of Doctorate Recipients (SDR), published in the Federal Register on December 5, 2024. 

FASEB supports the renewal of the Survey of Doctorate Recipients (SDR) and appreciates NSF’s commitment to understanding PhD employment outcomes and trends over time to better address the needs of researchers in an evolving scientific workforce ecosystem. FASEB is eager to see demographic information collected in the SDR more accurately reflect the identities of the research population.
