DataWorks! Salon Features Generalist Repositories

To support researchers in their efforts to manage their scientific data, FASEB DataWorks! is hosting a salon on October 8 at 1pm ET to explore the roles of generalist repositories, learn about the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Generalist Repository Ecosystem Initiative (GREI), and review the 2024 DataWorks! Prize opportunity, which includes a prize pool of $500,000.

This salon will address generalist repository use cases, best practices for depositing and finding data, and how the generalist repositories fit into the broader data repository landscape, including the GREI program. The salon will also showcase the opportunity available for life sciences researchers to receive a cash award by proposing and conducting an impactful secondary analysis project.
