FASEB Signs on to U.S. Animal Research Openness Agreement

FASEB has signed the recently released U.S. Animal Research Openness Agreement, reinforcing its commitment to transparency, accountability, and public engagement around the use of animals in biomedical research.
The U.S. Animal Research Openness Agreement is a voluntary initiative that encourages organizations involved in animal research to communicate clearly about why and how animals are used, the standards that govern their care and use, and the benefits this research provides for human and animal health. By signing the Agreement, FASEB joins a growing coalition of scientific societies, academic institutions, and research organizations working to foster informed public dialogue about animal research.
