FASEB Updates CHIPS and Science Act Factsheet

FASEB recently updated its CHIPS and Science Act factsheet series. These updated factsheets highlight the National Science Foundation (NSF) budget authorizations for fiscal year (FY) 2025, FY 2026, and FY 2027, as outlined in the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022. The CHIPS and Science Act authorizes historic investments in exploratory and translational research, aiming to advance innovative ideas across all areas of science and engineering. The FASEB CHIPS and Science Act factsheet details funding authorized for NSF programs that support research and related activities, STEM education, and building diversity in STEM. 

The CHIPS and Science Act factsheet for FY 2025, as well as other open-access advocacy tools, can be found in the FASEB Advocacy Toolkit.

The CHIPS and Science Act factsheets for FY 2026 and FY 2027 are available to members of FASEB member societies and Affiliates. Individuals interested in accessing these factsheets and other advocacy resources should contact their society for log-in credentials.
