FASEB Responds to OSTP RFI on Accelerating the American Scientific Enterprise

On December 18, FASEB submitted comments to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) in response to its Request for Information on Accelerating the American Scientific Enterprise. FASEB’s comments explored approaches to grantmaking that provide support for shared research resources and early-career researchers, offered considerations for the use of generative AI in research, and discussed sources of regulatory burdens that impede scientific advancement.
