PISA 2025: The Young Investigators Virtual Meeting

Pathobiology for Investigators, Students, and Academicians (PISA) is a virtual meeting hosted by the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP). This annual event is led by and highlights the next generation of experimental pathobiology researchers. The 2025 program will feature short oral presentations from undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral trainees and include sessions that explore professional development and career navigation.

The program will include:

• Short oral presentations (15 minutes each) selected from submitted abstracts across a range of topic areas—from cancer and immunopathology to stem cells and neuroscience
• Career-focused sessions that address alternative career paths, overcoming challenges in training, and navigating personal and professional growth
• A keynote address from an invited leader in the field
