FASEB Virtual Town Hall Offers Insight on New Congress

FASEB is hosting a virtual town hall meeting on January 22 at noon (ET) that will offer insights and analysis about what to expect as the 119th Congress begins. Speakers will preview the expected legislative agenda for the first 100 days of the Congress and provide an overview of changes in key committees that have jurisdiction over biomedical research funding and policy issues. Information will also be presented on steps individual advocates can take to reach out to their Senators and Representatives to build effective relationships with their elected officials.

There will be time for questions during the town hall meeting. The meeting is open to members of FASEB societies and others interested in getting more involved in advocacy for biomedical research.
